N.G. Shouts VIVA! VIVA!

NG Review and Training Center, Inc. joins the Ati-Atihan and Dinagyang Festivals 2012

As 2012 begins, Iloilo City comes alive once again with the beat of a thousand drums. This signals the coming of the most “viral” festival in the province and city of Iloilo, The Dinagyang Festival.

January 13, 2012 – N.G. Review and Training Center, Inc. joined the Dinagyang fever as the fifteen participating Ati tribes paraded around the streets of Iloilo for the Opening Salvo of the Dinagyang Festival 2012. NGRTCI Faculty and Staff danced their way along the city streets as a sign of support to the tribe it sponsored this year, Tribu Aninipay.

Only two days after, NGRTCI was already in the streets of Kalibo, taking part in the oldest religious fiesta in the country, the Ati-atihan. With the staff were the students and alumni of N.G. who were locals of Kalibo.

January 22, 2012 – NGRTCI again joined Tribu Aninipay during the Ati-Ati Tribe Competition as one of its sponsors. Faculty and Staff gave out N.G. flyers and freebies to the street audience as they joined the parade all across the city and through the four judging areas.

Godliness – the core value of NGRTCI that made us join these festivities. It is a value that illustrates our daily connection with God in our journey to serve our clients and employees to ensure that we follow the waging path towards what is right and just. And just like anyone else, it is also our  way of showing thanksgiving to Señor Santo Niño for the blessings that he had showered NGRTCI in the years that had passed, and to come.

In today’s time, finding a review center that imbibes the ideals of Godliness is rare. In N.G. Review and Training Center, we understand how vital it is that examinees become physically, mentally, as well as spiritually prepared. The N.G. faculty and staff engage in such activities as the Dinagyang and Ati-atihan festivals, not only as a respite from work, but also to practice their spiritual faith, and hand over such faith to their clients.

N.G. Review and Training Center, Inc. has more to offer indeed! With excellence imbibed in every corner of our hearts, we commit not only mental readiness, but more importantly, Spiritual preparation.

C.L.I.C.K. N.G. Review Program for 2012 N.L.E.

2012 will bring about a new challenge to nursing education, as it is the year that the first graduates for the enhanced nursing curriculum will be taking the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (PNLE).

With this change, N.G. Review Center has launched a specially tailored review program designed to face such challenge: The “C.L.I.C.K. N.G.” Review Program

What is “C.L.I.C.K.”?

Comprehensive Linkage – (C.L.)

Comprehensive linking/marrying/union of CHED Memo No. 5 Series of 2008, CHED Memo No. 14 Series of 2009, National Core Competency Standards for Filipino Nurses by the BON, PRC, and CHED, The Competency Standard in the Practice of Nursing in the Philippines (BON Res. No. 112, Series of 2005), and Curricula of selected Schools of Nursing in Western Visayas.

Improvement of Core Knowledge – (I.C.K.)

The review program is aimed at improving the core/basic knowledge of BSN graduates in accordance with the Four (4) Core Competency Standards for Filipino Nurses set by the BON in their preparation for the Nurse Licensure Examination.

Why “C.L.I.C.K.”?

The C.L.I.C.K. N.G. Review Program is specifically designed for the nurses of this generation: one that spends most of its time in front of a computer or browsing the web, and a generation where “CLICK”-ing has earned a whole new meaning.

This new review program is a product of the concerted efforts of N.G.R.T.C.I.’s Resident Faculty during their Nursing Lecturers’ Assembly last June 10, 11, and 13, 2011. The assembly was called for with the objective mainly on the formulation/creation of an updated review program/curriculum to prepare its reviewees to be ONE STEP AHEAD in the highly competitive world of professional nursing.

Several schools have already invited N.G. Review Center to present C.L.I.C.K. NG NLE Review Program to its graduating students and have been getting positive feedbacks.

For more details of this another trendsetting venture of N.G. Review Center please visit our N.L.E. page.
