2012 will bring about a new challenge to nursing education, as it is the year that the first graduates for the enhanced nursing curriculum will be taking the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (PNLE).
With this change, N.G. Review Center has launched a specially tailored review program designed to face such challenge: The “C.L.I.C.K. N.G.” Review Program
What is “C.L.I.C.K.”?
Comprehensive Linkage – (C.L.)
Comprehensive linking/marrying/union of CHED Memo No. 5 Series of 2008, CHED Memo No. 14 Series of 2009, National Core Competency Standards for Filipino Nurses by the BON, PRC, and CHED, The Competency Standard in the Practice of Nursing in the Philippines (BON Res. No. 112, Series of 2005), and Curricula of selected Schools of Nursing in Western Visayas.
Improvement of Core Knowledge – (I.C.K.)
The review program is aimed at improving the core/basic knowledge of BSN graduates in accordance with the Four (4) Core Competency Standards for Filipino Nurses set by the BON in their preparation for the Nurse Licensure Examination.
Why “C.L.I.C.K.”?
The C.L.I.C.K. N.G. Review Program is specifically designed for the nurses of this generation: one that spends most of its time in front of a computer or browsing the web, and a generation where “CLICK”-ing has earned a whole new meaning.
This new review program is a product of the concerted efforts of N.G.R.T.C.I.’s Resident Faculty during their Nursing Lecturers’ Assembly last June 10, 11, and 13, 2011. The assembly was called for with the objective mainly on the formulation/creation of an updated review program/curriculum to prepare its reviewees to be ONE STEP AHEAD in the highly competitive world of professional nursing.
Several schools have already invited N.G. Review Center to present C.L.I.C.K. NG NLE Review Program to its graduating students and have been getting positive feedbacks.
